Yarra River Exploration.
On Trinidad’s North Coast the  Yarra River plays a significant role in providing water to nearby villages but also acts as a boundary separating the villages of La Filette and Blanchisseuse .The name Yarra may have derive from the Amerindian word meaning “ever –flowing” and this constant supply of energizing water  comes from the Arima, Blanchisseuse watershed .It sources originates from The Limon River situated in Morne La Croix  and it flows in a north western direction as it meanders through the valleys and spurs to interlock with other major tributaries from The Yarra Forest Reserve. The erosion of the river bed and bank through the methods of solution ,abrasion ,attrition and hydraulic action  form fantastic creations of  gorges and pools .
